Mumbai News, 18 Dec 2018 : The genre defining thriller, Andhadhun kicked off the award season with big wins at the esteemed Star Screen Awards last night.
Produced by Matchbox Pictures, a banner helmed by Sanjay Routray, the film has won four top honors, including Best Director for the master storyteller, Sriram Raghavan at this glitzy event.
Andhadhun’s list of wins includes:
· Best Director: Sriram Raghavan
· Best Film Writing: Arijit Biswas, Yogesh Chandekar, Hemant Rao, Pooja Ladha Surti, Sriram Raghavan
· Best Editing: Pooja Ladha Surti
· Best Sound Design: Madhu Apsara
Earlier this year Andhadhun emerged as a runaway success at the box office winning high critical acclaim and big audience applause with many rating it as the Best film of 2018. That this genre defining, gripping thriller is still running in theatres more than 70 days post release is a proof of its audience acceptance!
