Mumbai News, 10 Dec 2021: Ready-to-stream films, particularly those in regional languages, are in high demand. Small films that are ready to be released but can’t due of the covid-19 outbreak find that TV premieres are a great option, especially if they want to attract a family audience.
Keeping that in mind, Marathi feature film, Karkhanisanchi Waari (Ashes on a Road Trip), will stream exclusively on SonyLIV, from today onwards.
After gaining praise and admiration from international film critics, the film was invited to renowned screenings in New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Toronto, Stuttgart, and London. At the Tokyo International Film Festival, it was named one of the top five films. The film was also screened at the Indian Panorama section of the 51st International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which took place in Goa on January 23rd, 2021.
The film is produced by Archana Borhade (Nine Archers Picture Company) and the co-producer of the movie is Zulfia Waris (ABP Studios).
