Mumbai : The discussion about good and bad will continue about social media, but this platform also changes the lives of the needy. An elderly couple who run a roadside dhaba in Malviya Nagar area of Delhi got a reason to smile thanks to social media. Actually, a video is being circulated on Twitter, in which the elderly customers running ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ were crying because they were not earning. Many Bollywood celebrities also appealed for his help by sharing videos. Bollywood actor Karan Aanand also praised this positive side of social media.
Karan Aanand said “We have always talked about the negative side of social media, because the positive side got covered and people could not see understand wrong and right. But this platform has the power to change the whole world. The current example proves that the power of social media, where we saw the burning face of an elderly couple who run a roadside dhaba in Malviya Nagar area of Delhi. Yes, the happiness of an elderly couple, popularly known as ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’, is due to social media. So I would like to say that, how to use any facilities, technology in a positive way depends on our mind and perception. 🙂”
On the work front, His first Bollywood movie was ‘Gunday’, followed by ‘Kick’, where his action scenes were much appreciated, but he truly received recognition for his spy-act in ‘Baby’.
