Mumbai News, 21 Jan 2021 : Model-actor Apeksha Porwal, best known for playing Koyal in the crime thriller web show Undekhi, was recently diagnosed with Covid-19. A source close to the actress says that she was supposed to leave town for an ad shoot, but she couldn’t.
“Apeksha had to shoot for an advertisement for a popular clothing brand. But when she was diagnosed with Covid-19, she had to be on quarantine for two weeks. After the quarantine period she rested for a couple days before resuming work. The ad opportunity meant a lot to Apeksha, but she was apprehensive if the brand would wait for so long for her. Much to her surprise, the brand pushed the shoot and waited for her to recover completely,” says the source.
Apeksha says, It felt exhilarating to be back on set after being cooped up in one room for 14 days. Finally , having spent so much solitarily has taught me a different kind of resilience and patience. I’m grateful that my case was pretty mild and I had no symptoms after the first three days.
I however rested a couple extra days and made sure to take all precautions before meeting anybody and getting back on set. But it truly felt great to be back and up and running. There’s nothing quite like the rush and energy of a set, and you feel it that much more after being cooped up for 14 days.
