Mumbai News, 09 Sep 2021: Earlier this year, superstar Amitabh Bachchan wrote a handwritten letter for his Mayday co-star Aakanksha Singh and the actress was on cloud nine after receiving such a warm gesture of admiration from the Bollywood legend. It seems their bond has only strengthened with time. Now, Big B has taken to social media to shower his love on Aakanksha and to praise versatility.
After watching the teaser of her latest South project Clap, Bachchan tweeted, “Hindi film artist, working with such ease and comfort in Tamil & Telugu films .. Films are truly universal ..🙏 All the best Aakanksha (sic).”
Overwhelmed by his praise, the actress fell short of words. She expressed, “I am speechless. I’m short of words to express what this means to me. I want to thank Bachchan sir for every word he’s written about me. He has always been so loving and encouraging. He’s truly an inspiration for me and many others.”
Aakanksha plays the lead in Ilaiyaraaja’s latest film, Clap, which has been directed by Prithivi Adithya.
