Mumbai : Actor Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly committed suicide because he was suffering from depression. Shocked by the actor’s sudden demise, former Mr India International Darasing Khurana, who works on several social causes, has come with a foundation that can offer mental health services to those in need.
Called the Pause.Breathe.Talk Foundation, the planning and execution of the initiative took about three days. “While there are proper therapy facilities available in most major cities, there are hardly any in the smaller towns. And the ones that are there are quite expensive. I came up with the foundation to offer affordable mental health services (Rs 250 per session) to the ones in need. We have a team of approximately 15 experts, including therapists, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists,” says Darasing.
