Mumbai News, 30 June 2022 : Darasing Khurana entered showbiz as the winner of Mr.India International and went on to represent the country at the Mister International pageant the following year. Since then, he has made a name for himself in the modeling world by walking the ramp for several big brands and he is all set to follow it up by entering into the acting world with the Punjabi film Bai Ji Kuttange this year.
But that is not the only thing that Darasing has used his stature for. He is also a philanthropist and the founder of Pause.Breath.Talk foundation that aims to provide affordable therapy to people suffering from mental health problems. He is also the brand ambassador of DATRI, an India-based blood stem cell donors registry. He is a part of a UNICEF initiative as well and is associated with several other causes.
Recognising his contribution to humanity, the model-actor-philanthropist was recently honoured with the Humanitarian of The Year Award at the Global Wellness Awards 2022. The ceremony was held on June 15 at the Maharashtra Rajbhavan with the state’s Governor, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji in attendance.
Darasing’s philanthropic work doesn’t end with the causes associated to his name. He even recently went to visit the Ukrainian refugees to talk to them and get to know their plight. This honour just adds to the laurels to his name and motivates him to do more and more for the society.
