Mumbai News, 05 Jan 2021 : Ever since the release of its trailer, there’s been a lot of speculation around filmmaker Satish Kaushik’s new directorial venture, Kaagaz. And the screening of the film garnered the same kind of response. Held amidst a lot of preventative measures, the attendees of the screening had to undergo temperature check, saturation check on oximeter and a body screening at the sanitisation booth.
A source says, “Friends and colleagues of veteran filmmaker Kaushik came for the screening, including the likes of Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar, producer Ankur Garg, and Dr Jayantilal Gada and Ramesh Taurani.
Apart from them, Mita Vashishth who is also acting in the film, Padmini & Tutu Sharma , producer Anand Pandit, writer-director Roomi Jaffery , director Feroz Khan, Pulkit Samrat , Ruslaan Mumtaz , Govind Namdeo , Anang Desai and Director Ashok Pandit were also present.
Everyone is believed to have really loved and praised the film and spoke about it.”
There was a great arrangement for the food for the attendees and the spread is believed to be elaborate.
Starring Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role, Kaagaz is presented by Salman Khan Films with Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production and produced by Salma Khan, Nishant Kaushik, and Vikas Malu. The story has been conceptualised and directed by Kaushik.
