Mumbai : B-Town is usually all glitzy during the festive season, and Diwali is marked by huge parties and gathering. However, given the ongoing pandemic situation in the country, most celebs have been keeping a low profile, when it comes to celebrations. This year it was extra special for JP Dutta’s daughter, Nidhi Dutta, because it’s not only her first Diwali post engagement, but also marked her parents’ 35th anniversary.
If the situation was normal, the occasion would have definitely been celebrated by the Dutta family on a huge scale. But they decided to keep things intimate.
Talking about it, Nidhi says, “This year, Diwali came at a very special time for us as a family. It was a double celebration for us, not just because it was my fiancé’s first Diwali with the family, but even more special because it was my mom and dad’s 35th wedding anniversary. It was a three-day celebration. We had kept the current situation in mind and have taken all the precautions. We had only invited selected family members and friends for the celebration and everything is happening at home.”
