Faridabad News, 23 Dec 2019 : Eicher School organized the Annual Day of Pre-Primary wing named ‘Earth-Un-earth’ where students of classes Pre-Nursery to lass II performed whole heartedly.
Ms. Smita Vats (Founder, Itihaas), Mr. R. Srinivasan (Entrepreneurial mentor and Co Founder, Career Launcher), Ms. Indira Ganesh (Heritage Enthusiast), Mr. Arjun Joshi (Director, Goodearth Foundation), Ms. Preeti Bhatnagar (Principal, sister school Kidz Republic) and Mr. Ivan Thankappan (Advisor, Goodearth Foundations) were amongst us as our special guests.
The programme started with a beautiful theme telling about the beauty of our planet Earth. The beauty of mountains, rivers, lakes and the most important human life that exists on this planet. The children showcased the beauty of earth by various dance forms. The dance was performed by pre nursery kids that mesmerized the audience.
The whole idea of the programme was to spread a message that our earth was such a beautiful planet and we the people who are living on it are ruining its beauty. The planet is no more beautiful now. It has now become polluted. People are cutting trees, building more and more factories and houses, throwing garbage here and there and creating pollution everywhere. There is no place left for the animals to build their homes. The theme rightly matched that the planet named earth is now becoming un-earth. The children then showcased that it’s not too late now; we can still bring a lot of changes and make the planet a beautiful planet again. We need to follow various measures to keep it clean, green and beautiful. The depiction of the 3R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle) was wonderfully done. They students also explained the measures like growing more trees, importance of car pool, to ban single use plastic etc.
Ms. Ritu Kohli (Principal, Eicher School) addressed the gathering that we are struggling hard to earn money for our children but actually what we will be giving them is the polluted environment. We all should start our bit now and make our home, school and society a better place to live. She also thanked the co-ordinator and teachers of the pre primary wing to put up such a wonderful show that gave a beautiful message to everyone.
In the end, Ms. Smita Vats addressed the gathering by applauding the students for the performance they had given. She was so amazed to see the synchronization between these young learners. She also told the audience to give a huge applause to all the kids. She complimented the teachers and the parents who made the props and set up the stage for the young children. She also mentioned that the message that these children gave we all should carry it throughout our lives. It should not end just after this programme. We should not give gadgets to the children in fact should spend time with them.
Mr. R. Srinivasan also addressed the gathering that each child was wonderful and played their role to the best of their understanding. They are too small to understand what they actually portrayed but we as parents can explain the measures we can take to make our planet a better place to live.
