Faridabad News, 14 Aug 2021 : To celebrate 75th Independence Day and commemorate it as ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, SARFAROSH – The Patriots Club of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad, organized Folk Dance, Master Chef and Scrapbooking competition on the theme ‘Colors of India’.
Students showcased their talent with full enthusiasm. The Folk Dances, the traditional cuisines and the cultural heritage of different States of India were epitomized in these competitions. The first position in Folk Dance was achieved by Anjali of BBA (CAM), second position by Khushi Verma of BBA and third position by Simran Kaur of B.Sc. (CS). In Master Chef competition first position was won by Eshita Pathak of BBA, second position by Kanchan Khanna of BBA and third position by Kajal Yadav of MCA. In Scrapbooking competition first position was attained by Pragya Kharbanda of B.Sc. (CS), second position by Nancy Verma of B.Sc. (CS) and third position was shared by Bobby Bhatia of MBA and Ritika of BBA (II). These competitions were judged by Ms. Reema Nangia, Dr. Pooja Kaul, Dr. Meera Arora, Dr. Parul Nagi, Dr. Anamika Bhargava and Ms. Priti Bali. Prizes were given to all winners and certificates were given to all participants. The day marked a successful celebration of Independence Day and ‘Colors of India’- the theme of the celebration was very well articulated through various activities.
Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Officiating Principal, DAVIM congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of members of Patriots Club, Dr. Anjali Ahuja, Dr. Rashmi Bhargava, CA Alka Narula, Dr. Nidhi Turan, Ms. Neetu Juneja, Dr. Dhrity Gulati, Dr. Deepak Sharma, Ms. Archana Mittal, Ms. Esha Khanna and Mr. Prince Ahuja, for successfully organising such a wonderful event which has divulged a feeling of oneness among all. The event concluded with National Anthem.
