Faridabad News, 9th Sep 2021: A great initiative of organizing a blood donation was taken up by the Rotaract Club of DAVIM in association with NCC unit of DAVIM on 8th September 2021. The camp was organised for Foundation against Thalassemia. A team of doctors and nurses from Rotary Blood Bank was present for the camp. The Blood Donation camp was inaugurated by Rtr. Surekha (President, RC Faridabad) along with CA Tajender Bhardwaj (Founder -RAC DAVIM), Sh. Ravinder Dudeja ji (Founder-Foundation Against Thalaesemia) and Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Officiating Principal, DAVIM.
The camp started at 9.30 am and there was an overwhelming response from students and other donors. A total of 91 units were collected in the camp. Some of the donors who could not donate this time were assured for donation in the next camp.┬а A Certificate of appreciation, donation card and refreshment were given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Officiating Principal of DAVIM appreciated the efforts made by the faculty members of Rotaract club Ms. Vandana Jain, Dr. NidhiTuran,, Dr. Geetika Khurana , Ms. Neha Sharma and NCC unit headed by Dr. Deepak Sharma for their consistent support in ┬аarranging the camp. She also applauded the hard work done by the rotaractors of DAVIM and NCC unit for making this event a success.
