Faridabad News, 01 Jan 2021 : Retirement is not the end of the road it is the beginning of the open highway. DAV Institute of Management celebrated retirement day of Dr. Hema Gulati, Assistant Professor and Dean (Curriculum Coordination) on December 31st, 2020, in Tarang auditorium, from 2pm to 4pm, by following all the social distancing norms. The staff members welcomed Dr. Hema Gulati and her family on the occasion. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director, and Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Vice Principal, presented the roll of honour to Dr. Hema Gulati.
The program was moderated by Ms. Archana Mittal, followed by opening remarks by Dr. Sunita Bishnoi. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma addressed the audience and highlighted the remarkable contributions of Dr. Hema Gulati in the growth of the Institution. He said that her contribution to the DAV Institute of Management has been immense and remarkable. She played a vital role in effectively launching and running BBA (Industry Integrated) Program in DAVIM and at its various centers.
Ms. Kanika Duggal presented a very emotional video showcasing the memories that Dr. Hema Gulati created during her tenure at DAVIM. Dr. Meera Arora, Dr. Sarita Kaushik, Dr. Rashmi Bhargava, CA Alka Narula, Mr. Harish Verma, Mr. Sachin Narula, Ms. Reema Nangia and Dr. Bhawna Sharma shared memorable experiences of their association with Dr. Hema Gulati. A very emotional and illuminating parting address was delivered by Dr. Hema Gulati, followe by closing remarks by Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Vice Principal.
As she embarks on a new path, DAVIM wished all the good luck and success for the bright future ahead and assured her of sustained support in her time of need. The DAV Family wished her a long, happy, healthy and contended life ahead!
