Faridabad News, 01 March 2021 : The Add on & Innovation cell and Corporate Resource Centre of DAV Institute of Management, NH 3, NIT, Faridabad organized a Certificate Program on Soft Skills “Connect With Work” supported by Barclays, NGO Partner Rubicon Foundation and Training Partner Rubicon Skill Development Pvt. Ltd. from 22nd February to 25th February 2021 for the MBA, MCA and BBA (BE) students. The trainers of the program –Ms. Khushboo and Mr. Mukesh were from Rubicon skill development Pvt. Ltd.
The program focused on improving the communication and employability skills of the students. The four day Add-on program emphasized on the industry expectations and public speaking skills. The trainers also stressed on enhancing the Email writing skills and interview skills of the students. They also conducted SWOT analysis of the students and motivated them to articulate their thoughts through PPTs.
Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director, acknowledged the initiative taken by Barclays and Rubicon. He emphasized that this add on program would help our students to connect with industry. Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Vice Principal said that the students were highly benefitted by this session and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Pooja Kaul, Dr. Bhawna Sharma, Ms. Poonam Singh, Dr. Kavita from Innovation Cell and Ms. Ruchi Dhunna and Mr. Harish Verma from Corporate Resource Centre for organizing the program and Ms. Reema Nangia, Dr. Juhi Kohli and Ms. Vandana Jain for Media support.
