Faridabad News, 25 March 2021 : “The Vedas are the books of all true knowledge. It is the paramount duty of every Arya to read them, teach, and to recite them.” Following the philosophy of Arya Samaj and seeking the blessings of the almighty on the occasion of 74th birthday of Arya Ratan, Padam Shri, Punam Suri ji, President of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, a hawan yajan was organized in the premises of DAV Institute of Management Faridabad on 25th march. All the staff members of the institute were present at the hawan and they prayed to God to bestow blessings on Shri Poonam Suri ji. Principal Director of the Institute Dr. Sanjeev Sharma was the ‘Jajman’ at the Hawan, who performed it solemnly under the guidance of Shri Devender Shastri ji. Shri Satya Pal Arya, Secretary Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha and Shri K.L. Khurana, President, Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha, Haryana were also present at the occasion. DAVIM’s corridor resounded with the chanting of Vedic hymns and mantras when all came together to seek the showering of God’s blessings on President Sir. The Hawan culminated with the distribution of the Prasad.
