The charming anchor, who is indisputably one of the bests we have in the industry today, enjoys a good amount of adulation not only from the viewers but also from the judges, the contestants and even the celebrity guests.
The Sultan of the stage, who is hosting Indian Idol for the first time, has received praises galore for his entertaining hosting skills from celebrity guests like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Pyarelal, Jeetendra, Dharmendra and even from his dearest pal Salman Khan.
In fact, Maniesh’s dynamite on-stage presence and his ability to effortlessly keep the audience engaged has also pumped up the shows TRPs. One can’t deny the fact that many viewers watch the show only for Maniesh.
Recently, a little girl, who is suffering from cancer even wrote to Maniesh on Twitter stating how she is a huge fan and watches the show only for him. Being the sweetheart that he is, Maniesh even invited the little girl on the sets of Indian Idol and spent a good quality time with his tiny fan.
Clearly, Maniesh is loved by one and all, especially by the Indian Idol team. The team’s affection and love for Maniesh were seen in a recent episode of Indian Idol, where the team decided to dedicate one entire episode to Maniesh and called it ‘Maniesh Diwas.’
Each and everyone participated in the celebration of this unique day. Maniesh, who is known for pulling everyone’s leg on the sets, got it all back, of course in good humour, on ‘Maniesh Diwas’ when the contestant and judges humorously took his case and kept pulling his leg throughout the episode. By the end of the episode, the contestants even sang a song from Maniesh’s debut film ‘Mickey Virus’.
The whole atmosphere on the sets was joyous and everybody was quite happy to see Maniesh’s sporting side. While Maniesh pulls everyone’s leg, that day he happily let his leg being pulled too.
Needless to say, our dear host was really touched by the sweet gesture and thoroughly enjoyed his day. After all, not many celebrities get a day dedicated to them, right!?!
