Faridabad News, 18 Sep 2021: The International day of democracy in India is celebrated on 14th September every year. The day aims to highlight the importance of democracy for individuals, communities, and societies. To commemorate this event, the National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad organized inter college Essay Writing Competition on 15th September 2021 to encourage the students and to spread awareness about the importance of democracy for equitable and progressive growth. Many students from various colleges in and around Faridabad participated in the event. Out of these Sushma Baghel (DAVIM), Diwakar Shukla (Govt. Collage, Meham) secured Ist & 2nd positions and the 3rd position was jointly shared by Diksha Taneja (DAVIM) and Asha (Govt. Collage, Meham). E- certificates were issued to all participants. Team Members of National Service Scheme Mr. Sachin Narula, CA Alka Narula, Ms. Pooja Goyal, and Mr. Sameer worked wholeheartedly under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Bhargava (Convener, NSS) and Dr.Ritu Gandhi Arora, Officiating Principal, to make the event successful.
