Faridabad News, 03 July 2019 : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has further extended the last date of online application for M.A. Courses. The last date of submission of online application forms for M.A. (English) has been extended upto July 31, 2019 and for M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication until July 15, 2019. While giving information in this regard, Chairperson of Department of Humanities Dr. Atul Mishra said that the decision has been taken keeping in view of larger interest of the students. Earlier, the last date for submission of online application forms for M.A. courses was June 30, 2019.
He said that the University has started M.A. (English) with intake of 35 seats from current academic session whereas M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) is already running with 30 seats. Aimed at providing ample opportunity to students for admission to these new courses, the last date for admission has been extended, he added.
Dr. Divyajyoti Singh, Associate Professor and Course Coordinator of M.A. (English) said that the course has been designed by experts and apart from core literary and critical texts includes papers on market-oriented courses like Graphic Novel Writing, Translations, Film Studies, Non-Fiction and even Creative Writing. The students who pursue these courses would have ample career opportunities in Teaching, Research, Content Development, Publishing Industry, Media Industry, Advertisement and Public Relations, she added.

The minimum academic qualification for admission to M.A. Courses is graduation with 50 per cent marks in any discipline and admission would be done on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
