Faridabad News, 21 June 2020 : Change is the law of nature and is the only permanent thing in the universe. According to the changing scenario one has to implement the same. The present situation of COVID-19 proves to be the “Blessing in Disguise” and directs the finest path of transformation. It is very well known that current situation is very challenging for all including education sector and forward thinking educational institutes immediately switched over to digital mode.
It is the need of hour for implementing measures to mitigate impact of emergencies on education. During this phase, DAV Institute of Management under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Sanjeev Sharma has initiated to connect through social media platforms.For this, a webtalkseries has been planned w.e.f.16thJune2020 -24thJune 2020 covering all the courses.
On fifth day, the webinar session was organized at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm by BBA department headed by Ms. Neetu Juneja and her team in which all the faulty members of BBA played various roles- Dr. Dhrity Gulati Ahuja was the Moderator of the day, Ms. Rajnipriya Dhawan was the Presenter in which she explained the course very well, Ms. Maya Verma was the Host of the session.
One of the founder member Dr. Neelam Gulati (Dean Academics) gave the expert remarks and favored the initiative of coming up on social platform.
The Principal DirectorDr. Sanjeev Sharma, a visionary leader addressed the audience and gave an emphasis on useon power of social media to extend uninterrupted eduation sevices.
The programme includes the presentation on BBA course highlighting its key features, achievements and other crucial details. Ms. Vandana Jain presented the association of BBA students with ROTARACT CLUB activities. This was followed by another presentation giving insights on training& placement activities of DAVIM by Mr. Harish Verma. Meanwhile, audience has put certain queries on the chatbox which was resolved nicely by our expert faculty members Dr. Anjali Ahuja, Dr. Rashmi Bhargava, Ms. Neetu Juneja and Ms. Vandana Jain.
The Vice- Principal & Registrar Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora gave the closing remarks and appreciates the aspiring students who frequently putting up their queries on this platform and proudly announced that our counselors are eager to listen them The Webtalk ended up with Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Neetu Juneja, HOD(BBA Dept.).
The programme received an overwhelming response with so many viewers within limited span. DAVIM’s video has become one of the most popular videos on facebook. Alongwith the Institute is receiving lot many queries from the students on Facebook wall as well as through the Google form sharedwith them during the session.
