Faridabad News : NHPC, India’s premier hydropower company organized ‘Vasant Utsav 2023’ under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with great fervour and enthusiasm at the NHPC Residential complex, Surajkund, Faridabad on 4th March 2023. The programme was inaugurated by Shri R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC in the presence of Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical)& Director (Personnel), Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), Shri Santosh Kumar, CVO, NHPC, Smt. ChanchalVishnoi, Smt. Pushpa Chaubey, Smt. Gayatri Goyal, Smt. Nisha Singh and other members of Ladies welfare association.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri R.K.Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC said that NHPC is India’s premier hydropower company which has crossed several milestones in the field of hydropower development and is poised for achieving greater heights in the future.
The Vasant Utsav was celebrated to welcome the arrival of spring and to showcase the rich and diverse Indian culture. A number of stalls promoting local handicrafts, dress materials, food delicacies, puppet show etc. from various states/ union territories as J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, West Bengal, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Assam etc. and were set up by NHPC Power Stations/ Projects/ Regional Offices. The special attractions of the Utsav were performances from renowned Manipuri Singer Ms. Rani Sharma and traditional Bihu dance by All Assamese Students Union, New Delhi. A flower show was also put up by NHPC employees and their family members during the occasion
