Faridabad News, 24 Feb 2021 : The COVID – 19 Pandemic has brought turmoil into the lives of many people, some lost their lives and many lost their jobs because of the long drawn lock down. This has resulted in many parents facing problems in continuing the higher education of their children. In these challenging times Deeksha Smile Foundation came forward and supported the parents of few students of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad. Mr. N.K Bhalla, Founder President and Jagmohan Sharma on behalf of Deeksha Smile Foundation sponsored the fees of needy children by giving a cheque of Rs.51000/- on 23rd February 2021. Mr. Rajdeep Mann from Mann Ventures which is India’s premier processed food manufacturers, offering manufacturing and packing services to well-known multinational corporations also sponsored education of children whose parents lost their jobs during this pandemic and could not pay the fees of their children by giving a cheque of Rs. 100000/- on 24th February, 2021. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director, Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Vice Principal and other senior staff members were present on the occasion and extended their heartfelt gratitude for the philanthropic gesture of Deeksha Smile Foundation and Mann Ventures for their selfless service to the society.
