Faridabad News, 6th Sep 2021 : Teachers Day is celebrated on 5th September, every year to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, a well known scholar and the second president of India. The day is celebrated to mark tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. The Cultural and Extracurricular department of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad, has celebrated Teachers Day on 4th September, 2021.
The celebrations began in Tarang auditorium with the lighting of the lamp ceremony. The talented faculty gave numerous dance and singing performances. All the staff members actively participated in several fun activities including musical chair, tambola, one minute games, antakshari and prizes were distributed to the winners.
Officiating Principal Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora applauded the efforts of Cultural and Extracurricular team headed by Dr Parul Nagi (Convener) and team members Dr Shobha Bhatia, Ms Poonam , Ms Archana Mittal, Dr Dhrity Gulati, CA Bhawna, Ms Esha Khanna and Ms Deepika. The celebrations concluded on a happy and cheerful note.
