Faridabad News, 26 March 2021 : MSME Development Institute, New Delhi in association with IQAC & Incubation cell of DAVIM organised two day Industrial Motivational Campaign, (IMC-Y) on 25th & 26th Mar 2021 for MBA & MCA 1st Year students with an objective to motivate students to consider self- employment or entrepreneurship as one of the carrier options. The objective of the program was to inculcate entrepreneurial mind set in management graduates.
Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director and Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora Vice Principal, DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad welcomed all the eminent speakers and motivated students to look beyond the confines of traditional jobs and become job providers rather than job seekers.
The luminaries of the two day programme were Shri. Piyush Aggarwal(Dy. Director, MSME-DI, New Delhi), Sh. Digvijay Ahlawat (Joint Director, DIC), Sh. Dhirender Kumar(Manager, National Small Industries Corporation, Faridabad), Dr. Alabhya Misra (Chief Manager, Lead District Office, Canara Bank, Faridabad) and Shrimati S. Sakthi Rani(Associate Director, MSME-Development Institute, New Delhi) and dignitaries for the day two were Sh. A.K. Ojha (Ex. Asstt. Director,MSME-DI,New Delhi), Sh. Rajesh Kashyap (Motivational Speaker), Sh. Sachin Chaudhary (Entrepreneur) & Sh. Pradeep Virmani (Owner, Durga Gears Faridabad) who explained the various incentive schemes of MSME and the procedure for availing financial assistance from Bank under various schemes.
All the speakers emphasised that having knowledge of an academic subject is no longer sufficient for a management graduate. Students are required to have skills and abilities which will increase their employability.
