Faridabad News, 20 Aug 2021 : The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) honoured Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC in recognition of his contribution to Indian Solar Sector Growth on the occasion of Akshay Urja Diwas. Shri Singh has been recognized for his exemplary role in leading NHPC in the Award, Signing of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) & Power Sale Agreement (PSA) and subsequent tariff adoption by CERC for 2000 MW Solar Power Projects awarded by NHPC as an Intermediary Procurer. Shri V.K. Maini, ED (Renewable Energy), NHPC and other senior officers from Renewable Energy Division, NHPC were also present on the occasion. During the occasion, NSEFI hailed the efforts of NHPC for development of Solar Power Projects and also discussed issues prevailing in RE sector and the future road map with respect to NHPC’s role.
