The event took place at Hotel Le Meridien. Both the artists seemed highly excited and confident about the film which tells the story of electricity theft in rural India.
As per the details revealed by cast, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nishant Pitti and Krishan Kumar. It stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
