New Delhi News, 07 June 2022 : Firsts are always special and to be able to make a debut at a grand platform makes the charm climb up a notch. Over the years, many Indian actors and celebrities have debuted at the international film festival and left us in awe with their dreamy looks. This year, the uber-gorgeous Urvashi Rautela made her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. And, it’s safe to say she aced it.
Her much-talked-aboutSnow White-inspired red-carpet look comprised of a layered tulle white gown which was complimented with some reallyexquisite jewellery. Her whole look was worth a whopping Rs 3 crore. But, any grand red-carpet look is not complete until you have the perfect makeup and hair to go with it. Rautela’s angelic gown was coupled with bold red lips and perfect makeup. This look resonated with the crowd and was widely complimented by everyone.
For her second look, Rautela chose a black long tail gown, green emerald dangler earrings, and the most flawless peach-and-pink make-up. Both her looks were highly appreciated by everyone and it was sealed and certified when none other than Leonardo Di Caprio complimented the diva himself!
Rautela’smuch-talked-about looks were done by the super talented Divya Behl. A Delhi-based independent make-up artist, Behl runs a booming make-up business called ‘Divas by Divya’. It was also her debut at the Cannes when Rautela invited her to go along and be her official make-up artist for the event. The stunning looks that she created for Rautela are a testimony to her talent as a make-up artist.
Canned is a huge platform and to be able to show your work at the widely-respected film festival is nothing less than a blessing. Behl also got an opportunity to work for an editorial shoot in one of the world’s leading and oldest fashion magazines Lofficiel. It was a star-studded affair that gave Behl a chance to meet many popular figures in the Indian film industry and abroad, including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, R Madhavan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tamannaah Bhatia, and several others.
Behl is an extremely talented make-up artist and a relentless entrepreneur. Even though she is a make-up artist, she doesn’t endorse the idea that make-up should be used to cover someone’s flaws or imperfections. Behl maintains a firm stand to the opinion that makeup should not be used to alter skin tones or hide marks, everyone has the right to feel comfortable and confident in their own different forms of beauty. Her inspiring ideas come through in her make-up skills. Her talent, hard work, and the magic she creates with her make-up brushes are truly commendable.
