New Delhi News, July 06 2022: Rahul Sharma, a New Delhi-based Guitarist, Musician, Singer-Songwriter, and Composer has opened a new branch of “The Guitar School” (TGS) at Vivek Vihar, Delhi.
With the aim to revolutionize Western Music Education in India, Rahul Sharma founded “The Guitar School” in 2013. TGS uses modern classroom teaching tools to cover the entire scope of music learning. TGS strives to spread quality music education and skills, through a systematic and well-structured course curriculum. Through its all-encompassing teaching approach, TGS continues to raise the bar for innovative and professional guitar & vocal instruction. The courses cover a range of genres and styles including rock, pop, metal, blues, Bollywood and jazz.
TGS organises regular concerts for students to showcase their performances with no age limit. The youngest student is of age 4, and the eldest age goes to 72. TGS has professional musicians (teachers and performers), as well as hobby students. TGS is one of the biggest centres for Rockschool London exams in Delhi NCR, since 2013. The students are taught and prepared on Guitar, Singing, Keyboard and Ukulele. TGS also has a dedicated program called “Mini Mozart” program for younger students of age 5-10 years which is an experiential music learning program, to inculcate basic concepts of music at a younger age group. Through their online learning platforms, TGS has students from the US, Singapore, Dubai, Australia, UK, and all over India. TGS holds performance events every quarter and special occasions like Founders Day, World Music Day, etc.
With over 1500 students on board, The Guitar School (TGS) plans to expand its physical footprint with the new centre.
