INOX SUPPORTS THE INDIAN ARMY: By keeping a special screening of URI for our soldiers along with the star cast

New Delhi News, 09 Jan 2019 : INOX, India’s fastest growing multiplex chain, salutes the real heroes of the nation with a special preview of the upcoming movie ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ – a movie based on URI attack on the Indian Army in 2016. This special premiere was held at Epicuria, Nehru Place, New Delhi in presence of the lead actor Vicky Kaushal & Yami Gautam. The movie has been directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwwala also. URI is worldwide releasing on January 11, 2019.
Over 50 guests along with Delhi media attended the special screening and had a lively exclusive interaction with Vicky & Yami, who shared facts about their film training at the Indian Army premises highlighting and being cognizant of the life led by personnel of the Indian Army.  Talking about the same with Delhi press, Vicky stated, “It was really a speechless experience, for the very first time through this film I witnessed our soldiers and their life so closely, and now I feel more respect and love for them. We all are really small in front of them, these soldiers are real-life heroes.” Further, he added, “Preparation for this film came up as my full-time job. On a daily basis, daily I went through with 7 to 8 hours of physical training. Starting from morning 6 from the gym, the entire schedule came up as an extremely amazing time of my life.”
Well as a special gesture, INOX will go onto donating a part of its movie tickets sales towards the Army Welfare CSR Fund. Speaking on this unique initiative, Mr. Saurabh Varma, Chief Marketing Officer, INOX LEISURE LIMITED, “At INOX, we believe in living the movie in every possible way and this movie association gives us an opportunity to use our platform of entertainment in delivering a larger message to the society and also contributing towards the real heroes of the nation.”
URI: The Surgical Strike is based on the roguish terrorist attacks at Uri Army Base camp in Kashmir, India takes the fight to the enemy, in its most successful covert operation till date with one and only one objective of avenging. Featured under the banner of RSVP Movies. It also stars Paresh Rawal and actor Mohit Raina in prominent roles.
