Additionally, Yellow class is also collaborating with celebrities and creating free programs like Singing with Shaan, Cooking with Masterchef Ripu, Yoga with Vidya Malvade and Ramayana with Shri Arun Govil Ji. The reasons for bringing these celebrities to mentor kids are many – i. These are role models for a lot of kids, ii. They have years of experience in their domain and are masters of their skills and, iii. These celebrities look for opportunities to mentor kids as they understand the importance of a mentor at an early age. The platform has been able to retain the kids since they have fun on the platform and aren’t forced to learn anything. It has showcased disruptive growth and focuses on deeper consumer engagement by gamifying the experience for kids. Additionally, the brand has a user base in over 52 countries with more than 2 million parents being a part of the community.
The startup aims to captivate children in various disciplines and offers programs in dance, GK, yoga, arts and crafts in interactive classes and workshops through, Podcasts, Stories, DIY sessions. Furthermore, it had raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital in August 2021. A clutch of angel investors— including Meesho’s cofounder Vidit Aatrey and PropTiger CEO Dhruv Agarwala—and existing investors India Quotient, Titan Capital & First Cheque participated in the fundraise.
