Faridabad News, 11 Sep 2021 : The National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad celebrated International Literacy Day on 8th September 2021 to spread awareness about the importance of literacy for equitable and progressive growth. The day aims to highlight the importance of literacy for individuals, communities and societies and the need for intensified efforts towards more literate societies. This year’s theme is “Literacy for a human-centred recovery: Narrowing the digital divide”. We, as global citizens, must pledge to make this world a better place by working towards the eradication of illiteracy.

On this occasion an Inter college E-quiz was organized by NSS. 200 students from various colleges participated in the event. Out of these 108 students scored more than 80% marks. E- certificates were issued to all participants who scored more than 80%. Team Members of National Service Scheme Mr. Sachin Narula, CA Alka Narula, Dr. Kavita Goel and Mr. Sameer worked wholeheartedly under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Bhargava (Convener, NSS) and Dr.Ritu Gandhi Arora, Officiating Principal, to make the event successful.
