New Delhi News : Famous film personality Pooja Bhatt, MunishMakhija (Former VJ, Channel V, Ritwik Bhattacharya (Former India No.1 Squash Player) and Team Zenext (team co-ordinator) announced acquiring franchise rights of Team DELHI HOOPERS in the 3BL Basketball League by Box Singh Sports and Entertainment. The event took place at Hotel Le Meridien, Delhi. The entire media peeps witnessed the grand inauguration.
Now the Team will play in the six-city multi tour league beginning from Delhi/NCR on 9th & 10th June2018. Which includes boasts of talented players namely Inderbir Singh Gill, Dhruv Barman, Harkirat Jattana Singh, Mayank Rawat, ,Kiran Shastri and Divesh Jolly.
The fastest growing urban team sport in the world, 3×3 Basketball comes to India for the first time with 3BL – 3×3 Pro Basketball League Indian Sub-continent. The six-city multi tour league to begin from Delhi/NCR on 9th & 10th June 2018. The first ever FIBA recognised basketball league in India will see basketball sensations players like Palpreet Singh Brar and international basketball sensations like Inderbir Singh Gill, Leandro Sauza Lima and more.
Pooja Bhatt (owner-Delhi Hoopers), discussed about the 3BL League, steps that can be taken to encourage players to take up this game and how this league will help in growth of Basketball in India. Whereas, Munish Makhija (owner-Delhi Hoopers), discussed about future plans of Box Singh Sports and Entertainment. Apart from basketball, the company is actively promoting boxing as a sport. It has organised boxing events in Goa earlier this year and plans to organize more such events outside India later this year. Ritwik Bhattacharya (owner-Delhi Hoopers), discussed about the need of development of sports in India for building a healthy nation. He said that such leagues help children in taking up sports as a career.
