In order to spread more love in this hyper charged election year, Shailendra has joined hands with Mithoon, India’s most successful Music Composers, and Siyaram’s to create and release the biggest unifying anthem4good since Michael Jackson’s We Are the World. Titled Ek Bharat. Mera Bharat (One India. My India), Shailendra and Mithoon’s Anthem4Good aims to unite all 1.4 billion Indians across the planet in celebration and oneness.

The song, Ek Bharat. Mera Bharat, was created and produced by Shailendra Singh and Mithoon. Mithoonis best known for popular songs like ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Sanem Re’ and ‘Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga’. The song features the incredible voices of : multiple award winning Sukhwinder Singh; the supremely talented hit-maker Jubin Nautiyal; and the fresh, sweet voice of newcomer Godswill.
“This is definitely one of the most powerful songs that I have ever composed. Shailendra Singh had such a beautiful vision for the song, which has grown and evolved to have its own soul. I believe it has the ability to lift the heart and spirit of anyone who hears it,” says Mithoon.
The anthem4good music video was written and directed by Shailendra Singh, who has produced over 72 feature films, executed over 2,000 of India’s most recognized ad films. The video is shot across 20 historic cities and features some of the most famous landmarks and holy places of India, as well as the raw emotions of real people from all walks of life.
Shailendra and Mithoon’s Anthem4Good, celebrated and supported by Siyaram’s, does additional good by directing people to the Magic Bus website to make an online donation. Magic Bus is a registered NGO that pulls children out of poverty through education andlivelihood programmes – strengthening India’s future one child at a time.
