New Delhi News, 13 Oct 2021: Shri Lav Saksena is a leading epitome of conviction, sincerity, diligence, and hard work. Now working as a tax consultant, he has proven his mettle and successfully registered his efforts in India’s growth accounts. He is an alumnus of Kanpur University, where he has earned degrees in B.A., in 1976 and B.A., LLB in 1978.
Surging ahead to accumulate vast knowledge, he has been rewarded with a certificate in Public Policy from Maxwell School in 2012 and in Public Administration and Policy from IIM, Bangalore.
He has served in Indian Revenue Services at the Income Tax Department, handled prominent positions by supervising the taxation flow. He began his journey as Income Tax officer – Mumbai from 1981 till 1987 and kept climbing the ladder of higher positions from Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax in Bangalore to Chief Commissioner in 2012. That is how he carved a niche and perfectly made himself fit into the promising personalities of government authorities. He kept striving towards more knowledge and accomplished various notable training programs as well.
He served as Secretary General in Indian Newspaper Society (INS) from 2017-18, where he gave independence to the freedom of speech by overseeing financial reporting of newspaper, magazines and publications in pan India, also pursued the matter of interests for publications with central and the state government.
He had lent his service as an independent consultant and advocate from 2013 till 2020, and then became a barricade against unethical practices by governing Income Tax Laws, Benami Act, FEMA Act and Black Money Act.
After leaving the Indian Newspaper Society, he joined BJP on 7th December 2019 where he got entrusted with the mission of reviving water bodies of New Delhi, he did exceptionally well and his work became the shimmer of the vast sea.
Over his journey, once he started, he didn’t stop and added many jewels to the nation’s crown through his awards and achievements; bestowed with Finance Minister Gold Medal Award for best probationer at NADT, Nagpur, won the Royal Jordanian Airlines case in 2004, achieved highest budget collection target exceeding by 31.7% (the third highest in India) as the Chief Commissioner, Income Tax – Gujarat.
He is the man who has made proliferation in the growth chart of India through his aligned duties. His success has given the way to a new dawn of development and we are certain that he is the man who has made a significant contribution in making India a rising nation.
