Training on Life Skills (Advanced) was organized for teachers by CBSE at Vidyasagar International School.
Faridabad : A CBSE Capacity Building Program was organized for faculty members at Vidyasagar International School on 19th April 2025 in which teachers from other schools also joined in. The topic :’Life Skills (Advanced)’, aimed at enhancing the teachers’ ability to integrate life skills into their teaching methodologies.
The resource persons for the session Mr Vikas Vashisth, Vice Principal, Modern School, and Ms Ritu Kaidaan, HOD Political Science, at Royal Oak School, Gurugram led the session with a focus on practical approaches to teaching life skills, such as emotional intelligence, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving.
The session was interactive, with Mr Vashisth and Ms Kaidaan engaging teachers in various activities designed to demonstrate how these life skills can be nurtured in students. The activities also encouraged the teachers to explore innovative methods for integrating these skills into the curriculum, fostering an environment of holistic development in the classroom.
Towards the end, the Principal expressed gratitude to the resource persons for their valuable insights and thanked them for their time and contribution to the professional development of the teaching staff.
This training session was a valuable opportunity for faculty members to enhance their pedagogical skills and contribute more effectively to the overall development of students.
