Faridabad News, 28 Nov 2020 : Youth is pollen that blows through the sky and does not ask why. To discuss the issues which the youth of the nation is facing, BBA (Industry Integrated) Department of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad organized a webinar on – “Youth of India- Confident or Confused” on 28th November’2020 under the guidance of Principal Director, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma and Vice Principal, Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora.
The illustrious speakers of the day were Ms. Pooja Gupta, Founder- Soulful Living, Member- Inner Wheel Club, Faridabad, a Happiness Coach and a counselor as well as social reformer and Mr. Ravi Kalra, Founder- Earth Saviour Foundation, an internationally recognized NGO whose wise words and forward thinking address captivated everyone. The session started with welcome address by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director, DAV institute of Management. He also appreciated the efforts of BBA (Industry Integrated) Department for organizing such a lively and enriching session on a topic which is the need of the hour to discuss the various issues of the youth of the nation. The webinar was moderated by Ms. Kanika Duggal, Assistant Professor, BBA(II) Department.
The speakers shared their insights that being raised in a conventional system holding high regards for tradition, most of the Indian Youth are now the driving workforce of multinational corporates. Despite the sharp cultural differences, India’s Youth have embraced the western culture, stayed coherent and now lead as pioneers of globalization owing to their unquestionable tolerance.
The generation of young people in India is witnessing a radical change that makes them confident of who they are. The time is ripe for them to come out of their comfort zone, take a plunge and make it large. They further emphasized that Youth of India is confident because they know where they are headed. But at the same time, the speakers added that younger generation is struggling hard to find its own niche.
The webinar was so audience friendly that the viewers got engaged by asking several doubts which were answered by the speakers. The session was concluded by Head of Department of BBA(Industry Integrated) Deptt, CA Alka Narula with a formal vote of thanks. She thanked Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director, DAVIM and Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Vice Principal, DAVIM for motivating the team to come up with such ideas.
