Faridabad News, 27 May 2021 : To pay homage to former Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and our brave soldiers who die fighting terrorists, National Service Scheme wing in association with Internal Quality Assurance cell of DAV Institute of Management celebrated Anti Terrorism Day on 21st May 2021.
The idea was to spread the message of peace and humanity and to instill the feeling of patriotism in students. To motivate and to spread awareness about “Anti Terrorism day” an Inter college Essay writing competition and Poster making competition was organized on the topic “Stop Terrorism” by the National Service Scheme. Team Members of National Service Scheme Mr. Sachin Narula, CA Alka Narula, Mr. Sameer and Dr. Kavita Goel worked wholeheartedly under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Bhargava (convener of National Service Scheme) and Officiating Principal, Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, to make the event successful.
A Total of 27 entries were received in Essay Writing competition from different colleges across Faridabad. First Position in Essay writing competition was jointly shared by Heena Kapoor of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad and Rashmi of Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalya , Palwal. Second position was bagged by Udita Arora of Aggarwal college Ballabgarh and third position was bagged by Lakshay Yadav of J C Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad.
In Poster making competition total 26 entries were received from different colleges across Faridabad. First position was bagged by Rashmi of Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya , Palwal. Second Position was bagged by Ajay Vishwakarma of Shaheed Samarak Govt PG college Tigaon, Faridabad. Third position was jointly shared by Hrithke of DAV Centenary College Faridabad and Vikas kumar Kanth of DAV Centenary college Faridabad.
